A  two weeks-long cycling and cycling adventure to particularly charming places along the shores of three of the five Great Lakes. We will visit three beautiful islands located on Lakes Michigan, Huron and Superior by bike. We will step into the National Park - Indiana Dunes. We will get to know part of the lighthouse trail of the northern lakes. There will be wonderful sunrises and sunsets. We will please the eyes and souls with the greenness and blue of nature. Sandy, clean beaches and wonderful dunes, white sails on the lakes will leave unforgettable moments in your memory. There will also be no shortage of local delicacies and fun in a group. Here you will catch moments of relaxation and respite from everyday life. You will rest and regain your strength. You will want to come back here!

It is possible to rent a bicycle.

The organizer reserves the right to change the tour program in the event of unforeseen situations or extraordinary circumstances.

Price per person from USD 2,500 to USD 3,500 for 15 days. The exact price list is available in the database with the locations of declared persons, means of transport and accommodation. It is possible for people hungry for adventure and great fun to travel between lakes and islands in a camper.

 A 25 percent deposit is required up to 90 days before departure and full payment is required 30 days before departure.

The price does not include the purchase of a ticket to the USA. Its cost can be up to PLN 4,500 both ways (with checked baggage). Also required for entry to the USA - ESTA, cost approximately PLN 90. We will help you purchase electric tickets and generate an ESTA for the interested participant. Additional fees (entrance tickets to tourist attractions are not included in the price of tours)

For those willing to live in the USA, the cost of travel to Chicago will depend on where the interested person will be from (plane, passenger car or train).

The price of the tour includes tourist standard accommodation - a place in a double room, continental breakfast, and transportation along the tour route with a guide. Sightseeing, basic compulsory travel insurance, transport control. For people at risk, it is possible to rent a bike while browsing selected routes.

We guarantee a varied program, an interesting and active way of spending time, lots of learning, a nice atmosphere and great experiences.

The program includes visiting Chicago and its most interesting attractions, relaxing on the Indiana Dunes NP beach and walking in the beautiful dunes.

 

We will spend most of our time cycling. We'll be riding miles of bike paths along Lake Michigan heading north.

We will visit Door County and go to the beautiful Washington Island, which we will at least partially tour by bike.

Then we will go to Lake Superior, from where we will take a boat to the almost deserted island of Grand Island. We will drive around almost the entire island along the coastline, encountering more and more beautiful wild nature.

We will not forget the wonderful moments of our stay on Grand Island, and we will go to another extraordinary island, Mackinac Island, to which there is no other option than to get there by bike by ferry, because it is a "bicycle" island. You won't find any combustion cars here, only horse-drawn carriages and bicycles. Driving around, you will be breathtaking with the landscapes of the blue lake, lush colorful vegetation and the constant singing of birds. And if you move smoothly, you won't even notice that these are 3 of the 5 great lakes, i.e. Huron.

We deliberately do not provide dates because the order of the islands visited may vary depending on the weather. Since the area in which we will be traveling is very large and the weather may vary on individual islands, we will take this aspect into account.

There will be a surprise, the details of which we do not want to reveal.

For those who have a week's time and would like to take part in an expedition organized in this way, we can adapt a shorter program (which will also result in a lower cost of such a trip).

 

However, for those interested who would prefer to spend up to 3 weeks in this way, we suggest adding Niagara and Ontario, Lake Erie and beautiful state parks to the program, and maybe even New York, if so desired.
